The Village of Ruidoso continues to actively work with government officials, staff, and contractors regarding the federal, state, and local COVID-19 responses and guidance to ensure the health and well-being of the Village of Ruidoso residents.

Because the Ruidoso Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Flood Hazard Mitigation Project is an essential project for our residents and community, the project work is still continuing. The three phases of the project (Restoration, Hazard Mitigation, and Lift Stations) are in different stages, which include the planning, design, and permitting stages.

The ongoing work will keep progressing because most of the current work is being conducted in the office via computers and via teleconferencing methods. There will be some fieldwork by the surveyors, engineers, and environmental specialists to verify the survey data, designs, features, and environmental constraints related to the project.

Those professionals that might need to be in the field will practice social distancing and minimize close interactions, per the federal and state official guidance.

As always, if the public and residents have any additional questions regarding the current status of this project and ongoing work, please call 1-844-543-5729 or submit your questions via the website: https://ruidososewerproject.com/contact.
